This fund is dedicated to supporting local refugee outreach and health outcomes research through a Community-Clinic Partnership between Upstate Medical University Center for International Health and Catholic Charities of Onondaga County Refugee Resettlement Services. This Community-Clinic partnership connects leaders of healthcare systems and community agencies, implements initiatives to improve health outcomes, and facilitates outreach and health surveillance for local refugees and immigrants.

The Upstate Global Health Education fund is dedicated to supporting learners and trainees to participate in global health educational activities and research projects, by providing a mechanism for exchange of faculty scholars from Upstate Medical University to identified platforms and universities locally and globally. We provide a rich education platform for students and faculty from all Upstate colleges to participate in credit-bearing coursework, lab practicum projects, service-learning trips to disaster areas where we work, and robust training programs in clinical research. Through these efforts, the fund supports the University's mission of research, education and patient care.
Your donations to this fund provide a way for Upstate’s Institute for Global Health and Translational Science’s Center for Education and Training to fundraise to cover costs that are not available to us from other campus sources.
