Cathy Patrick Breastfeeding Endowment Fund
This fund will support breastfeeding education for staff and patients, community outreach, and other priorities related to Upstate University Hospital’s breastfeeding program.
The idea for the Cathy Patrick Breastfeeding Endowment Fund was lovingly created by Cathy’s Upstate colleagues in partnership with the Upstate Foundation. They believe that an endowment fund is the perfect way to honor Cathy’s passion for education and her joy in serving others.
Your gift to the Cathy Patrick Breastfeeding Endowment Fund is the ideal way to help establish a lasting legacy. The fund principal will always remain intact while the investment earnings generated over time will support the fund’s purpose (highlighted above) for generations to come.
In addition, once the $10,000 fundraising goal has been reached, a lactation room at Upstate’s Community Campus will be named in Cathy’s honor. The Cathy Patrick Lactation Room will be another lasting tribute to Cathy and her exceptional contributions to breastfeeding education.
