Dear Alumni,

Welcome to the Upstate Nursing Alumni Association!

The moment you graduated, you became a member of the association, joining a prestigious group of more than 2,500 nursing professionals living and working in communities across the country.

Since its inception in 1992, the Nursing Alumni Association has awarded more than 300 scholarships.  The association also provides support for faculty enrichment, continuing education, and other needs of the students, faculty and alumni of the College of Nursing.  Many of you may remember receiving your first white coat as a gift from the alumni association.

The mission of the Nursing Alumni Association is to enhance educational excellence and scholarship for nursing students of the Upstate Medical University campus, and promote collegiality among nursing alumni, students and faculty.  I hope you will join us in this effort.

Most importantly, please stay in touch.  It’s quick and easy to update your contact information or to share your news and accomplishments in the alumni newsletter. Simply contact us through the secure online community on this site, by e-mailing us at nursalum@upstate.edu or by calling (315) 464-4416.

Ensure the Future
-- Make sure your name is there when the Donor Wall of Distinction is unveiled at the New Academic Building. Gifts of $250 and up will be acknowledged on the wall. Contributions can be spread out over two to three years.  Or, get together with classmates and give a “Class of xxxx“ donation.  Tributes are also welcome.

Many permanent naming opportunities are available – learning spaces, classrooms, offices, and more. Your contribution will be used to provide state-of-the-art equipment and technology for our future health care providers, as well as other educational support.
