Peter Boatwright, PhD, Allan D. Shocker Professor of Marketing and New Product Development; Director of the Integrated Innovation Institute, Carnegie Mellon University

 

Boatwright is co-founder and Director of the Integrated Innovation Institute, a market-focused center designed to speed the pace of innovation.  The Integrated Innovation Institute unites the three foundational innovation disciplines to cross train individuals and teams to become elite innovators, which enhances the effectiveness of thinking and generating results.  The Integrated Innovation Institute offers professional master degree programs in Pittsburgh and Silicon Valley as well as applied research and sponsored projects.  Professor Boatwright has taught courses on new product management, pricing strategy, digital marketing, product development, brand strategy, and marketing research as well as various courses in statistics. Boatwright has coauthored two books on innovation, The Design of Things to Come: How Ordinary People Create Extraordinary Products and Built to Love: Creating Products that Captivate Customers.
