Help Fight the Stigma Surrounding ADHD

Leading ADHD researcher and clinical psychologist Stephen Faraone and award-winning journalist and ADHD advocate Katherine Ellison have been working on a book about the continuing stigma directed at ADHD: a problem that not only causes suffering in people's private lives but thwarts research progress into better treatments. This is not a book that mainstream publishers will snap up: they've been more interested in books that argue that ADHD doesn't exist. So we need your help. We are asking for tax deductible donations to raise $100,000 to research, write, publish, and disseminate this work, and are asking our audiences for your support. Anyone donating $100 or more will receive a signed copy of the book and an acknowledgement of the donation in the book and on this website. For more details, go to www.ADHDevidence.org.

We will keep you updated on the progress of this campaign via this website. Any donations in excess of our goal will be used to promote the book. All royalties from the book and any donations not required to write it will be donated to ADHDevidence.org to support the maintenance and promotion of that website and to promote the book.

Stephen Faraone, PhD is Distinguished Professor of Psychiatry at SUNY Upstate Medical University and President of the World Federation of ADHD.

Katherine Ellison is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author.
